“The Memory of Surfaces: When Photography and Painting Converge”
My work explores the tenuous boundary between memory and reality through the unique fusion of painted photography. Each piece begins with a photographic capture of a moment—a landscape, a portrait, a fragment of urban life—which I then transform with layers of ink or digital paint.
This process allows me to question the objectivity of photography and introduce the subjectivity of painting. The paint does not obscure the photograph; it engages in a dialogue with it, creating a new narrative where time seems suspended and emotions become palpable.
I am inspired by the way memory alters our perception: just as memories fade, transform, or intensify over time, my painted photographs reveal how reality can be both documented and reinvented. The painting acts as a metaphor for the passage of time and the persistence of emotions.
By merging these two mediums, I invite viewers to reflect on the nature of perception and the beauty of impermanence.

I would like to clarify that until 2025, my images were offered in sets of five at an affordable price.
Following the advice of renowned artists, I am now launching larger formats, as unique prints, including for older images previously sold in sets, which will now be produced as one-of-a-kind, stand-alone pieces. These are intended for collectors.
For the general public, I will have them printed on small blocks of plexiglass or other materials suitable for gift-giving.

À l'approche de l'automne, les jours raccourcissent et les feuilles se parent de teintes chaudes, créant une atmosphère romantique et mystérieuse, parfaite pour capturer des moments hors du temps . Les brumes matinales et les couchers de soleil flamboyants enveloppent la nature d'une aura de magie. Chaque image devient une fenêtre sur un monde où le quotidien s'estompe, laissant place aux doux murmures des souvenirs et aux promesses d'une saison empreinte de poésie. L'automne révèle sa beauté éphémère et invite chacun à plonger dans la contemplation, à savourer la mélancolie des jours passés et à rêver des histoires à venir.
